Stefanie Hampel M.A.

As a theatre scholar, I am concerned with contemporary and historical cultural productions of the own. In doing so, I focus on constructions and deconstructions of the normal, the natural, but also the everyday, which are both used and traversed in theater through a wide variety of staging methods.

Since 2023 I am a research associate at the CRC 1482 Human Differentiation in the project on „Staging Differences“. Together with Friedemann Kreuder, Annika Will, and Yana Prinsloo I deal with the „accentuation“ and „downplaying“ of human differentiations in a situational social concentration: in theater.
