Friederike Brinker M.A.
Science Communicator
As a science communicator, I am passionate about communicating the research of our Collaborative Research Center 1482 beyond the university. I am the point of contact for all those who would like to learn more about our work but do not want to contact one of the researchers directly.
Specifically, I assist with events and website maintenance. I also host our podcast, create the monthly newsletter, and manage our social media presence. A web magazine is currently in the planning stages, which will also fall under my area of responsibility.
Why human differentiation?
What fascinates me about the Collaborative Research Center is that it links so many different fields of research. Human differentiation ranges from small distinctions that arise in the moment and are easily overlooked to categories that shape our thinking and have enormous influence, such as gender categories. My work allows me to gain insight into all of our research projects.
